Choir Programs

Welcome from
Mrs. Cruz and Mr. Warren

Cruz and Warren

Caprock High School Choir offers three choral ensembles with over 100 students in grades 9-12. Our students participate in several performances each year, including the Fall Concert, Caprock Classics, Holiday Taste of the Arts, Battle of the Voices, Pre-UIL Concert, Black Diamond Dinner, and Spring Pops Concert.  Schola Cantorum made history in 2013 by earning the first UIL Choir sweepstakes in the history of the school with their varsity mixed choir.  The choir made history again in 2014 by earning three sweepstakes trophies with the Varsity Mixed, Varsity Women, and Varsity Men’s choirs.  We strive for musical excellence in our daily rehearsals.  We hope to graduate students with a better understanding of not only music and singing, but dedication and a good sense of community through our ensembles.

Caprock Choirs are directed by Mrs. Cruz and Mr. Warren.  Mrs. Cruz is in her eleventh year as the head director.  This is Mr. Warren’s first year at Caprock, and we’ve enjoyed welcoming on to our team.
